A Short Review of Garmin’s Newest GPS Systems

The Garmin Nuvi 1370T is an ultra-slim convenient GPS that fits at the helm of Garmin’s 1300 series.  The 1200 and widescreen 1300 series are 25% more slender than other Nuvis making this a superbly handy unit. It has a 4.3″ diagonal widescreen QVGA color antiglare TFT screen with white backlight and a 480 x 272 pixel resolution.  The Nuvi 1370T greets you with two simple options; “Where to?” or “View map” and will speak turn-by-turn directions once you decide where you want to go. The lane assist feature aids you to choose the proper lane when approaching unfamiliar exits and the ecoRoute feature calculates the most fuel-efficient route. It is pre-loaded with City Navigator NT street maps with close to 6 million POI’s, and the “Where am I?” feature will almost instantaneously help you to find your location and the closest hospitals, police stations and fuel stations. The 1370T features Bluetooth wireless connectivity, trans-atlantic preloaded maps and an FM traffic receiver with lifetime traffic that is not seen on lower 1300 series models. Other features include JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock, currency converter, calculator and many more.

The ultra-thin, pocket design, widescreen Garmin nuvi 1390T is a feature-packed navigator for Europe, including the UK and Ireland. It has Lane Assist and Junction View for supreme route awareness. The Garmin nuvi 1390T includes Bluetooth® wireless technology for hands-free phone calls, pan-European premium traffic alerts and ecoRoute to calculate a more fuel-efficient route.

The Garmin nuvi 1390T is also compatible with the optional cityXplorer download to get you around on foot or public transport, and you can even add City Guides to maximise your travelling time in town.
